The Last Piece
       
 
When heavens sang the last piece 
And angels laid down their harps
When the violets bloomed in the garden 
And roses bore their thorns
Darling you were the one with me
There was promise we had sworn
And a promise you broke
As the last petal of the lotus fell
The swans flew away to the lands
Unknown to both of us
The last string of the harp broke
And the angel fell from the sky
She knew it came to an end 
As the last pearl fell from her hands
